I have a confession to make, I love dictionaries. I love exploring the meaning of those intangible words that enter our lives sometimes, and I also love finding out new words that I didn’t know existed. I enjoy thinking about the idea they contain and the feeling they convey.
Some words just mean so much even standing on their own. They don’t need to be put in a sentence.
So in this post I would like to share with you some of my favourite words and their meaning. My best-loved words revolve around the notion of elegance and politeness, and I would love it if you were to send me some of your own precious words, το add to my collection.

I would respectfully like to mention that for the purpose of this post I utilised various dictionaries, but mostly the Cambridge English Dictionary and The Little Dictionary of Fashion by Christian Dior.
